My Life in the ValleyI moved to Harrisonburg, Virginia in 2006. I worked at local restaurant and started taking classes at Blue Ridge Community College in 2008. It was a tough adjustment to return to school, but I stuck with it and took classes part time until I graduated in the summer of 2012 with an Associate's Degree. I transferred to James Madison University in the spring of 2013 and declared a Mathematics major with an Education minor. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in the spring of 2016. I am currently working on a M.Ed. degree through JMU and I work part time at BRCC as an adjunct math instructor. I love living in the Shenandoah Valley and I'm grateful to call it home.
